House of Pain but really a House of Joy

I know I’ve been talking a lot about football lately, well brace yourself because I’m going to talk about it some more. It might be the last posting about it, or it might not, my blog, I’ll decide and you’ll like it. Or not.

Anyhoo…

This actually isn’t about the game but something before it. A celebration of freedom, something that has become what feels like a non-pervasive element in our society with people foolishly wearing obedience masks acting like it makes them better people when in fact it makes them look like fools afraid of oxygen. What I’m talking about happened yesterday, Camp Randall Stadium, Madison, Wisconsin, the Badgers vs Penn State. 80 thousand plus bouncing up and down to House of Pain’s, Jump Around. What a glorious sight.

It was great to see some semblance of normality return. Even the broadcasters were bouncing in excitement. This one day after seeing thousands going crazy to Enter Sandman (one of the greatest songs ever written) before the Virginia Tech vs North Carolina game. No obedience masks either. Seeing this gives me hope that the pendulum is starting to swing, logic will finally win out and that America has just about had it with the medical Mussolini Fauci and the rest pushing COVID hysteria. Football may be just the opening salvo to reclaiming our lives. Me, after yesterday and the happiness one song brought to all of those thousands, I’ve gone from liking House of Pain, to being a lifelong fan.

Jump around!

Jump around!

Jump around!

Jump up, jump up and get down!
